As it was seen from the posts, quite a number of people took a fancy for Russia and Russian after acquaintance with Russian music. So it wuld be very interesing to know which performers impressed each of you personally and why.

Hi! My favourite is Russian classics - Chaikovski, Prokofiev and Rachmaninof. Best of all though I love “Pictures at an exhibition” by Mussorgski. That’s absolutely amazing piece!

as for me i prefer contemporary russian singers, i really like yuliya savicheva, dima bilan and uma2rman.
