What is ‘shashlik’? As far as I know that’s some sort of meat but that seems to be all I know. What is it indeed?

Shashlyk resembles barbecue in a way. It’s a traditional Caucasian dish that has become very popular all over Russia.

I like to marinade the meat with kefir, onion and oregano. It tastes sooooo smooth after it’s cooked!!!
