As we all know everything always has two sides…
Every nation can be both attractive and revolting due to some certain reasons.
So as far as Russians are concerned - what do you find positive and negative in them?
And why?

I like russians! I have met many nice people during my journey to Moscow! They are very hospitable and cheerful! But I haven’t tasted russian meals, because there are McDonald’s everywhere!

Russians can be extremely cruel and unfriendly to people from other countries, esp. Africans, Indians, Koreans etc. I’ve lived in Moscow for a few months now and my roommate (he’s Indian just like me) has told me lots of dreadful stories about that. Russia is a great country but to be honest Im a bit scared of it and I just pray every day that nothing so bad happens to me.

I like Russians because they’re crazy and unpredictable I never get bored with them! They’re really cool!
At the same time I don’t like it when they drink too much.

Russians can be very religious. Not in big cities like Moscow maybe, but those who are not overurbanized still find the time to go to church and stand the whole 2-hour service. Their faith is so sincere and natural that it makes their faces light up with kindness and positivity. I really admire such russians ))

there’s something I really hate - not about Russians but about Russia. i hate that there are so many homeless people as well as elderly people who don’t receive enough pension even to get by. so they are forced to collect bottles, ask for charity, look for food among garbage and sleep on benches in the streets. that’s not because Russians are all alcoholics, it’s just that the country itself leaves them no choice and makes them act this way…

I really dodn’t like it that people in Russia don’t smile. When they are outdoors I mean. They just walk along the streets with anxious faces and think only about their problems. It looks pretty sad.

They are incredible! Muaahhh

I hate it that Russians lose most football matches :(
I’m not saying about Euro 2008 and the game with Holland. But it’s a shame that it’s not the way we play for the most part.

Russians have lots of valuable things - culture, literature, music, religion, language, huge and rich land… I like this about them
But I don’t like it that they don’t appreciate it.

My granpa told me so. He was Russian.

i don’t like contemporary russian actors, movies and especially tv series. i find them all truly terrible. yet the soviet school was awesome, any film from that period differs a great deal from today cause the actors used to play brilliantly.

and i also hate the idea of making present-day sequels to the old soviet “blockbusters”.
